This beautiful vintage 1950s small ceramic earthenware posy vase, manufactured by James Kent Ltd in England, features a bulbous shape with pattern number 4040. It features a beautiful design of pink and blue rosebud flowers highlighted by green foliage, with gold brushed edges and trim on a glossy cream background. The underside of the posy vase includes the James Kent/Foley maker’s identification backstamp.

Condition:
The vase shows some light crazing on its exterior, along with a few tiny “fleabite” nibbles (overglaze) on the gilt trim at the base. Additionally, there are two pin-sized spots on the rose petal, which appear to be age-related or manufacturing marks. Overall, the vase is in good vintage condition, as shown in the photos. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, internal crazing or stains.
